Glossary of Terms
Below are definitions of frequently used terms related to the Navigator IC and Navigator OT solutions
Evaluation: The created workflow, the questionnaire(s), and the results report
Owner: The person with access to the platform, who creates the evaluation and receives the final report results
Contractor: The individual being assessed for independent contractor compliance for a specific engagement (Applies only to Navigator IC)
Position: The role within an organization that is being assessed to determine the risk of exempt vs. non-exempt classification (Applies only to Navigator OT)
Questionnaire: The questionnaire is a set of questions designed to gather information to assess the risk
Assign Out: The evaluation owner may assign out the questionnaire (Navigator OT) or both of the related questionnaires (Navigator IC)
Reassign: The evaluation owner may reassign incomplete questionnaires
Copy: The ability to copy the information from an in-progress (Navigator OT) or a completed (Navigator OT and Navigator IC) questionnaire and create a new evaluation with the previously entered information
